Flickering Fragments

Visions blurred by fog and rain
What was before you flickers away in pain
Life's canvas torn into millions of shreds
Possible horizons consumed by shadows as dark as lead
Unforgiving tempest breaking down memory's door
Hailing stones and lashing sleet it did pour
Until no amount of repair can restore
Memory's stories exist no more
